Placement
Place this injector on a clean, stable surf ace, or mount it to a wall. For wall
mounting, install two screws into the wall at the distance of the spaces on the
back of the injector. Place the injector over them and adjust until secure.
Setup
1 Using existing Ethernet cable (Cat5e min.), connect a LAN port on
your non-PoE switch to the Data In port on the injector.
2 Connect your Powered Device (PD; IEEE 802.3bt/at/af compliant) to the PoE Out port on the injector.
3 Wire the grounding terminal to an earth-grounding object to prevent power spikes.
4 Use the included power cable to connect the injector to an AC outlet.
NOTE: A lit PWR LED means power is being supplied to the injector. A lit 2-Pair LED means that
the connected PD is getting power from two of the four Ethernet-cable pairs. A lit 4-Pair LED
means that the PD is getting power from all four pairs. The usage LEDs light and stay lit from
30% to 60% and to 90% when the PD is using these percentages of the power budget.

Posizionare l’iniettore su una supercie pulita e stabile o ssarlo a una parete. Per il montaggio
a parete, installare due viti nella parete rispettando la distanza degli spazi presenti sul retro
dell’iniettore. Posizionarvi l’iniettore sopra regolandolo no a renderlo stabile.
Congurazione
1 Utilizzando il cavo Ethernet esistente (Cat5e min.), collegare una porta LAN
sull’interruttore non PoE alla porta Data In dell’iniettore.
2 Collegare il dispositivo alimentato (PD; IEEE 802.3bt/at/af) alla porta di uscita PoE sull’iniettore.
3 Fissare il terminale di messa a terra su un oggetto con messa a terra per prevenire i picchi di potenza.
4 Usare i cavi di alimentazione inclusi per connettere l’inietttore alla presa di rete AC.
NOTA: Un LED PWR acceso signica che l’alimentazione è fornita all’iniettore. Un LED a 2 coppie accese
signica che il PD collegato riceve energia da due delle quattro coppie di cavi Ethernet. Un LED a 4 coppie

Platzierung

del inyector. Coloque el inyector sobre los tornillos y apriételos hasta que quede jado.
Conguración
1 Utilizando el cable Ethernet existente (Cat5e min.), conecte un puerto LAN en
el conmutador sin PoE al puerto de entrada de datos del inyector.
2 Conecte su dispositivo alimentado (PD; Compatible con IEEE 802.3bt/at/af) al puerto de salida PoE del inyector.
3 Conecte el terminal de conexión a tierra a un objeto de conexión a tierra para evitar picos de energía.
4 Utilice el cable de corriente incluido para conectar el inyector a una toma de corriente.
NOTA: Un LED PWR iluminado signica que se suministra energía al inyector. Un LED iluminado
