How to use your Str8 Up Straightener:
Foruseondryhaironly.
•Removeallpackagingandsalelabelsbeforeuse.
•Washandconditionyourhairasusual.Ensurethathairisdry,
combed through and tangle-free.
•Aplasticcoverhasbeenplacedovertheplugtoprotectitfrom
damage.Removetheplasticcoverbeforeinsertingintopoweroutlet.
•
Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet and press the
on(I)button.Theredindicatorlightwillturnonandstarttoash.
•Selectthedesiredtemperatureusingthetemperaturedial.
Pleasesee‘Howtousethevariabletemperaturesettings’formore
information.
•Allowthestraightenertoheatup,theredlightwillstopashingwhen
the unit has heated up to the selected temperature. Your straightener
is now ready to use.
•Toturnapplianceoff,presstheoff(0)buttonandtheredindicatorlight
willturnoff.Unplugtheappliancefromthepoweroutletandallowto
cool before storing.
IMPORTANT:
Hair that has been heavily bleached or chemically treated should only use the
low heat settings on this product. Please consult your hairdresser on using
heated appliances if you have any concerns about the condition of your hair.

How to use the variable temperature settings
The variable temperature settings provide variable heat for many
differenthairtypes.Thesesettingsallowyoutochoosetherequired
temperature setting according to your particular need and hair type.
NB: The heat-up time will vary depending on which temperature setting
youselect.Itissuggestedtousethelowerheatsettingswhenusingthe
applianceforthersttime.
WARNING: This appliance is suitable for average use on the medium
highheatsettingof200˚C.The215˚Cand230˚Cmaximumhighheat
settings are not suitable for hair that has been chemically treated,
bleached or damaged.
DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT ON HEAT DAMAGED OR CHEMICALLY
TREATED HAIR ON THE HIGHER HEAT SETTINGS.

How to use the locking switch?
The locking switch is used to hold the plates together when
the straightener is not in use for easy and convenient storage.
After use, turn the appliance off and allow to cool. Hold the
straightener handle together and slide the locking switch
across to secure the plates. To unlock, simply slide the locking
switch in the other direction.
Automatic Safety Cut Off System
This appliance has an automatic safety cut off system which will
automaticallyturntheapplianceoffifleftonaccidentlyfor72minutes.If
thisoccurs,pleasewaitforappliancetocool.Switchtheapplianceoffand
unplug the power cord. Plug the power cord in and switch the appliance on.

silver, tourmaline and ceramic when combined with heat seals the hair
