MANUFACTURER’S INSTRUCTIONS

DEATH OF THE PASSENGER/RIDER!
GENERAL
• Do not attach additional luggage
to the child seat. Any extra load is
best attached to the rear end of the
bycycle.
• Do not modify the seat.
• The cycle could behave dierently
with a child in the seat. Particularly
with regard to balance, steering and
braking.
• Never leave the cycle parked with a
child in the seat unattended.
• For any form of crack or if the sur-
face starts to deconstruct, this in-
dicates that the life of the seat has
been reached and it should be re-
placed. A professional shall be con-
tacted in case of doubt.
• Always check the surface tempera-
ture of the product before any use.
• Always ensure that the head of your
child is supported in reclined posi-
tion.
• The movability of the handle bar
could be reduced by the seat.
• This child seat is not suitable for use
during sporting activities.
• Before each ride, ensure the mounted
seat does not interfere with braking,
pedaling, or steering of the bicycle.
• Be careful not to let the child reach
displays or other equipment that is
mounted on the handle bar.
• Do not allow any of the child’s body,
clothing, shoe laces, or toys to come
in contact with moving parts of the
bicycle.
• A rear reflector that complies with
CPSC regulations must be visible
whether the seat is on the bicycle or
not.
• The load of a child bike seat may
lessen the stability and alter the
riding characteristics of the bicycle,
particularly regarding steering and
braking.
• When the seat is unmounted from
the bike, do not use the child seat's
handle bar to carry the seat with a
child in.
• Do not use the seat if any part is
broken.
• The bicycle to which the seat is at-
tached must be in good working
order.
• Do not remove the attached key ring,
its size reduces the risk of suocation
for your child in case of ingestion.

this child seat. If you have any questions,
please check the information supplied with
the bicycle, or ask the bicycle dealer or
manufacturer.
s2. Only mount to the handle bar stem. Mount
the seat as is described in the product

minimum diameter.
s3. Make sure the bracket screws and attachment
points are fully tightened, and check them
frequently.
s4. This product is not suitable for use on

that the seat does not slopeforwards, risking
the child to slide out of it. The backrest of the
seat should slope backwards slightly.
35560139001
s6. Front seats reduce the maneuverability of
the bicycle.
s7. The movability of the handle bar may be
reduced by a mounted seat. If the seat
reduces the steering angle to each side to
less than 45°, change handle bar to a type
with correct functionality.
s8. Check that all parts of the bicycle function
correctly with the seat mounted.
USE
s9. This product is approved for children from
9 months up to 3 years old, with a weight
of 9-15 kg (20-33 lbs) and max height of 93
cm (36.61 inch). Do not carry a child that is
too young, and always consult a pediatrician
before transporting a child younger than
1 year. Carry only children that are able to
sit unaided for a longer period of time, at
least as long as the intended cycle journey.
Regardless of age, the child must be able
to hold his/her head up while wearing
a correctly sized bicycle helmet. Check
regularly that the child does not exceed the
maximum height and weight.
s10. Before each use, check all screws and
attachment points to ensure that the child
seat is securely fastened to the bicycle.
s11. When riding for the first time with the seat
fitted - test ride the cycle in a safe/quiet
environment before riding on the street.
s12. Carefully consider the stability/balance /
when installing the child into the seat on the
bicycle.
s13. During the ride, make sure both you and the
child wears an EN 1078 compliant bicycle
helmet.
s14. Pay attention to your child on a regular basis
during rides.
s15. Never leave the child unattended in the seat.
s16. Never leave the child in a seat with the
bicycle supported only by a kickstand.
s17. Never ride the bicycle at night without
adequate lighting.
s18. The presence of a child bike seat may require
you to change the way you get on/o the
bicycle. Please pay extra attention to this.
s19. Before each ride, ensure the mounted
bicycle seat does not interfere with braking,
pedalling or steering.
s20. Always use the harness, and make sure you
fasten it correctly round the child. Ensure
the harness and footstraps are not loose or
could become trapped in moving parts such
as wheels. This also applies when you are
using the bicycle without a child in the seat.
s21. Make sure the child’s clothes, shoes, toys or
body parts do not come into contact with
any moving parts of the bicycle, such as
wheels, wires and saddle springs. Check this
regularly as the child grows. Saddle springs
can be covered with a suitable spring guard.
s22. Ensure there are no sharp objects within
reach of the child, e.g. frayed cables.
s23. The seated child often needs warmer clothes
than the rider does. To protect you both
from unexpected rain it is wise to carry
waterproof clothing. Never ride in inclement
or hazardous conditions, such as cold
weather that could cause the child to suer
frostbite.
s24. Check the temperature of the seat before
seating the child, especially on hot,
sunnydays.
s25. Remove the child seat when transporting
the bicycle on a car. Air turbulence might
damage the seat or loosen its fastening,
which could result in an accident.
s26. Before use, check whether there are any
national laws and regulations specific to
carrying a child in a bicycle child seat.
s27. The manufacturer is not liable for
damages arising from use beyond what is
recommended in this owner’s manual.

washing instructions onthe padding.
