IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

appliance, follow these basic precautions:
• Read all instructions before using this appliance.
• DANGER or WARNING: Risk of child entrapment.
Child entrapment and suocation are not problems of the past. Junked or abandoned
appliances are still dangerous…even if they will “just sit in the garage a few days”.
• Before you throw away your old Wine/Beverage Cooler or any appliance:
Remove the door. Leave the shelves in place so children may not easily climb inside.
• Never allow children to operate, play with, or crawl inside the appliance.
• Never clean appliance parts with ammable uids. The fumes can create a re hazard or
explosion.
• Please dispose the appliance according to local regulations as the unit contains ammable
blowing gas and refrigerant.
• Keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction.
• Do not store or use gasoline or any other ammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this
or any other appliance. The fumes can create a re hazard or explosion.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent or
similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
•
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
• Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a ammable propellant in this
appliance.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before Initial Use
• Remove the exterior and interior packing.
• Before connecting power, allow unit to stand upright for 2 hours. This allows the refrigerant to settle
and reduce the possibility of malfunction in the cooling system from handling during transportation.
• Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth.
• Install the handle on the left side of the door (if you wish to reverse the door, please rst reverse
the door according to instructions below, then install handle on the right).
Placement
• This appliance is designed for free standing or built-in (full recessed) installation.
• Place the appliance on a oor that is at and strong enough to support it when fully loaded. To level
the appliance, adjust the front leveling legs at the bottom of the unit.
• Locate the appliance away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.).
Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical
consumption. Extreme cold ambient temperatures may also cause the unit not to perform properly.
• Avoid locating the unit in moist areas.
• Plug the appliance into an exclusive, properly installed-grounded wall outlet. Do not under any
circumstances cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. Any questions
concerning power and/or grounding should be directed toward a certied electrician.
Defrosting:
While operating, the appliance will defrost once every 8 hours. The defrosting process lasts
approximately 30 minutes. Water will collect in the evaporator drip tray and is automatically evaporated.
During the defrosting process, the temperature displayed may be higher than the set temperature.
Note: Water condensation may appear on the outer surface of the glass door. This occurs when water
molecules within the air comes in contact with the cold surface of the glass door. The vapor condenses
on the glass surface and can cause a foggy eect or in extreme situations, water droplets. This
indicates high humidity in the environment, simply wipe o the water condensation with a soft cloth.
