Astra 8 & 12 Camera Jib Crane

Astra comes with a back secon, a front secon with your
choice of camera mount, and vercal and horizontal
counterweight bars.

Using Tripod Head
Remove the quick release plate from the tripod
head. Screw into the crane s mount, located on ’
the rear secon. 1/4”-20 & 3/8”-16 threads
available. Do not aempt to use the lt funcon
on the uid head with the crane aached.
With the stand mount aached to the crane,
set it on top of the stand s main sha. Insert ’
the knob into the groove, and ghten to
secure.
The rear secon has an interior connecng bar
extension out. This slides into the front secon
or extension. Tighten the knobs to secure the
secons together.
Aer inserng the connecng bar, insert the
knob into the coupler and ghten knob into
the groove.
Mounng on Support Stand:
Assembly for 8 Astra Jib

Astra Jib Setup
Add the 4 extension secon to the rear
secon and secure properly. Next, aach the
main head secon to the extension secon.
Tighten the knobs to secure the secons
together.
Assembly for 12 Astra Jib
Extend your 8 crane to a 12 crane by adding the 4 extension.

Oponal Tilt Brake
For using lt funcon, loosen the knob to lt
the crane to the desired posion. Tighten back
the knob if you want to put a brake to lt
feature.
Monitor Mounng Bracket
To aach the monitor bracket, screw the knob
into the threaded hole on the crane s tripod ’
mount.
LCD/MONITOR are shown securely mounted
on jib.
For straight angle
Below is the manual lt funconality of the camera.
WARNING: when lng manually, always maintain control of the camera. A front heavy camera may
move forward abruptly without noce you need to be very careful at this point.
