But obtain a suitable plug adaptor if the plug does not fit the AC

The location of the fuse differ according to the type of AC mains

the instructions below.

1. Open the fuse cover with a screwdriver.
2. Replace the fuse and close or attach the fuse cover.

After connecting your new player for the first time
and pressing [Í], the basic settings screen will
appear.

enter manually by using “Manual setting”.

“HDMI CEC”
This unit supports “HDMI CEC” (Consumer
Electronics Control) function.
See the operating instructions for connected
equipment for operational details.
Preparation
1Set “HDMI CEC” to “On” (>29).
(The default setting is “On”.)
2Set the “HDMI CEC” operations on the
connected equipment (e.g., TV).
3Turn on all “HDMI CEC” compatible
equipment and select this unit’s input channel
on the connected TV so that the “HDMI CEC”
function works properly.
Repeat this procedure when the
connections or settings are changed.
When the unit starts playback, the TV will
automatically switch the input channel and the
screen of the unit will be displayed.
Additionally when the TV is off, the TV will
automatically turn on.
All connected equipment compatible with “HDMI
CEC”, including this unit, automatically turns off
when you switch the TV off.

following checks.

Disconnect the AC mains lead, wait 1 minute,
then reconnect the AC mains lead.
The following do not indicate a problem with
this unit:
– Regular disc rotating sounds.

The images from this unit do not appear on

¾An incorrect resolution is selected in “HDMI

Cannot switch audio.

[BDT166/165] “On”*. Set “Digital Audio Output” to
“PCM” or [BDT270] [BDT170] [BDT166/165] “Off”*.
