1. Connections

To connect the amplifiers/receivers to the speaker selector, remove the AMP A/B connector by firmly pulling it out of its 8-pole socket. Strip ” of insulation from the end 1/4

of each wire. Tightly twist the end of each wire until no frayed ends remain. Insert each wire into the appropriate hole on the removeable terminals (matching up the

polarity). Use a small screwdriver to tighten each wire into the AMP A/B connector. Insert the connector plug into the socket and lock in place Be sure not to reverse .

2. Operation

If the mpli a fier is 8 tohm and he speakers are 4 tohm, set he rotary switch to T CE WI the numbe r of ir spa of peaker connec eds t to TSM12 /TSM.8

3. Setting System Volume

It is important to properly adjust an impedance-matching system to avoid distortion or DC clipping (DC voltage will be produce d from aan mp ifiel r wthat is over orked or that has an

improper lo ad). These can cause an amplifier rece/ iver to go into protection, an d can ocause autof rmers on volume controls to heat up, damag ing sys emt compo entn s. To set up

the system, the amplifier/rece iver volume d shoul be at its lowest setting, and the in- wall/selector volume co rnt ol sho uld st s be at the highe etting. Slowly adj ust the
