3. Micro SD card slot : A micro SD card can be used to play
music directly from the unit. Insert a card into the slot to
enjoy your music.
4. Aux Port: The aux port is used to connect a source using
a 3.5mm jack cable.
Maintenance:
1) This product is make from wood, do not expose it rain or
moisture.
2) Retain these instructions for future use.
3) Clean the product with a damp cloth and mild soap.
4) Do not expose this product to rain or moisture.
5) Be careful not to turn or twist the cables used in this
product too much as it can lead to malfunction and
failure.
6) This product is not designed to be submerged in water
and will malfunction if this occurs.
7) This product has no user serviceable items inside. Do not
open this product as the user risk injury and would void
the warranty.
8) Keep unit away from strong magnetic elds to avoid
interference with the product.
FAQ:
Q) No sound is coming from the unit.
A) Make sure the Timber Tunes is charged fully. Also try and
increase the volume on the unit.
Q) When I touch the buttons, nothing happens.
A) Switch o the speaker for 30 min and try again. A ‘Reset’
can also be performed by pressing the reset button.
Q) My les on the SD card is not playing.
A) The SD card should be formatted in FAT32 conguration.
Supported le types are: APE, FLAC, MP3, WMA and WAV.
Q) When playing music, the sound breaks up.
A) If using Bluetooth the maximum range is 10m
(line of sight). Please make sure the unit and source are not
too far away from each other. You can also try using
another Bluetooth device to check the speaker.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Merlin Products are covered by a limited one-year
warranty policy. If the product suers from a
manufacturing defect, the customer will receive a
replacement if claimed within 15 days of the purchase
date. Otherwise, the product will be inspected for
possible repair options. The product will either be
repaired and returned free of charge, or replaced. All
repair services past the one-year warranty period will
be charged for any repairs that need to be made.
If the client is located outside the UAE, or is otherwise
unable to personally deliver the defective product to
our service center or retail outlets, he/she may send it
via post at his/her own cost. The repaired/replaced
product will then be returned to the client via courier
mail at Merlin’s cost, as long as the warranty period is
still active.
Important: This limited warranty DOES NOT COVER
normal wear and tear, accidents, damage during
transit, misuse, abuse or neglect. Attempting to
disassemble the unit will render the warranty null and
void.

Instruc�ons:
The TimberTunes is a beautiful wood crafted Bluetooth
speaker made from Australian beech wood. It has elegant
nishes and touch control button and is the perfect for your
oce desk or home. The speaker has Aux, SD card and
Bluetooth 4.0 inputs and battery that makes the unit portable.
Bluetooth Pairing:
- Switch on the unit using “Power” button.
- The unit defaults to the Bluetooth function and the blue
LED will blink indicating paring mode.
- Open the Bluetooth function on the mobile phone and
search for “Timber Tunes”. Select this item to pair with the
Timber Tunes.
- If a password is requested the default password is “0000”.
1. Power/Mode Button:
- To turn on the unit touch the on/o button for 2 seconds.
- To switch between input modes touch this button for
1 second.
Note:
- If there is no SD card or Aux cable connected the mode
button will skip over that particular input.
- If the unit gets stuck touch and hold the on/o button longer
than 8 seconds for it to reset.

2. Volume Circle:
- To increase the volume rotate your nger in a clockwise
rotation and over the volume grooves.
- To decrease the volume rotate your nger in a counter
clockwise direction.
- When the volume reaches the maximum or minimum the unit
will make a beep tone.
3. Play/Pause:
- In Bluetooth mode: Short touch the button to play/pause the
music. Hold it for longer than 6 seconds to disconnect from the
Bluetooth mode.
- In SD Card mode: Short touch the button to play/pause. Hold
the button to switch between folders.
- In Aux mode: Touch to play/mute the audio.
- Touch to answer a call and touch and hold to to reject calls.
- When answering the phone, touch to hang up the call. Hold the
button to transfer the call from the speaker to mobile phone.
4. Previous Track:
- In Bluetooth mode: Short touch the button to play previous
track.
- In SD Card mode: Short touch the button to play previous track.
Hold the button to rewind the track.
- In Aux mode: Button has no function.
5. Next Track:
- In Bluetooth mode: Short touch the button to play next track.
- In SD Card mode: Short touch the button to play next track.
Hold the button to fast forward the track.
- In Aux mode: Button has no function.
Rear Panel:
1. LED Indicator:
-When charging the LED will be red. Once it is fully charged the
LED will turn o
-The blue LED will be fully on when the unit has been paired. It
will blink while in pairing mode.
-The blue LED will slowly blink slowly when it is in pause mode.
2. DC in port:
- Use this port to recharge the internal battery or power it from a
power supply. Use any 5V/1A micro USB charger for best results.
- It can also be used transfer data from a computer. Turn o the
unit and connect it to a pc using a USB cable. Files can now be
copied directly to the micro SD card.
-When the battery is low the unit will make a “low” beep sound
once every minute.
-When no music is being played on the speaker the unit will turn
o.
