Power Wire Routing
1. Open the hood, disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Find the fuse box in the engine compartment and open the cover.
3. Remove the supplied fuse from the fuse holder.
4. Remove the nut on the accessory lug, connect the power wire and retighten the nut. Torque 9Nm. Fig 1
5. Route the power wire across the radiator support and toward the grommet on the passenger’s side of the
fi rewall. Fig 2.
6. Remove the fasteners retaining the carpet panel below the glove compartment and remove the panel.
7. Make a small incision in the rubber grommet and pass the power wire into the cabin.
8. Install the black connector on the end of the power harness inside the cabin. The black connector should
have a block out plug installed in one side to prevent the power wire from being inserted into the wrong
position in the connector.
9. Connect the black two-pin connector of the power wire to the corresponding connector of the subwoofer
harness.
10. Remove the passenger’s side threshold panel along the bottom of the front door opening.
11. Pull back the rubber door molding and then pull back on the kick panel to remove it. Fig. 3
12. Connect the black ground wire of the subwoofer harness to the factory ground point in the passenger’s
side kick panel. Torque to 9Nm. Fig. 4
13. Route the subwoofer harness along the door opening and toward the rear of the cab.

14. Connect the adaptor harness to the white two pin connector of the subwoofer body harness.
15. Find the twisted pair of wires in the passenger’s side kick panel that are white with a purple stripe and
white with an orange stripe.
16. Tap the wires using the supplied wire taps. Fig. 5
17. Connect the brown wire of the adaptor harness to the white/purple wire. Connect the green wire of the
adaptor harness to the white/orange wire. Fig. 6

18. Connect the white two pin connector of the amplifi er harness to the corresponding connector of the
subwoofer harness.
Subwoofer Installation
19. If the truck is equipped with the factory subwoofer option, run
the subwoofer harness through the incision that the factory sub-
woofer harness comes through. Tuck the factory wires under the
carpet out of the way.
20. If the truck was not equipped with the factory subwoofer option,
measure fi ve inches from the sill plate under the rear seat and make
an incision in the carpet where the subwoofer enclosure will reside
and pull the subwoofer harness through the incision. Fig. 7
21. Connect the subwoofer harness to the subwoofer enclosure
and apply the supplied foam strips over the connectors to prevent
them from vibrating against the enclosure.
21. If the truck was equipped with the factory subwoofer, use the
original bolts to secure the new subwoofer enclosure to the fl oor.
22. If the truck was not equipped with the factory subwoofer option,
fi nd the three mounting holes in the sheet metal. Cut a small hole in
the carpet above each hole and install the supplied nut inserts.
23. Secure the subwoofer with the supplied M6 bolts. Fig. 8
24. Install the fuse in the fuse holder.
25. Reinstall all previously remove parts in reverse order.
26. Reconnect negative battery cable. Torque to 7Nm.
