Warnings/Important Information
• This is not a toy.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• DO NOT use on skin with rashes, spots, moles or wounds without
consulting your doctor first.
• Using a shaver may cause reddening or irritation to the skin. This is a normal
reaction that will quickly disappear. However, you should consult a doctor if
irritation persists.
Inserting the batteries:
Locate the battery cover on the base. Twist the dial clockwise and then remove.
Insert the batteries, making sure to match the polarity signs (+/-) when you
place them inside. Replace the battery cover and twist the dial anti-clockwise
to secure.
First time use
How to use the shaver: This shaver can be used in conjunction with shaving
foams, gels and oils. For the best results, use the shaver on stubble hair.
Instructions for use:
1. Ensure your face is clean and the area intended for shaving is free from
rashes, spots, moles or wounds.
2. Apply shaving foam, gel or oil.
3. Remove the protective lid and turn Atom X on.
4. Pull your skin taut and use the shaver by moving against the grain of your
hairs in an upward motion.
5. Take care when shaving sensitive areas like your neck and chin.
Note: Ensure that once you have finished, the shaver is stored in a dry place
with a temperature of between 10-25˚C.
Cleaning and maintenance
It is important not to use abrasive pads or cleaning agents, including alcohol
and acetone, as this will damage the shaver. Do not use sharp objects to clean
the shaver; gently use the brush provided.
To clean your Atom X Power Shaver:
• Ensure the shaver is OFF
• Remove the clear protective lid
• Remove excessive and protruding hairs from the silver foil using the
brush provided
To clean the inner compartment:
• Pinch down on each side of the shaver head
• Pull the shaver head off
• Clean in and around the compartment, being careful not to damage the
blades by using the brush provided
How to change the silver foil
• Ensure the shaver is OFF
• Remove the clear protective lid
• Pinch down on each side of the shaver head carefully
• Pull the shaver head off
• From the inside of the shaver head, gently detach one side of the silver foil
with a nger nail and pull away slightly
• Gently detach the other side with a nger nail and pull out the old silver foil
• Pinch together the bottoms of the new silver foil and place into the shaver
head lining-up the middle of the foil with the plastic guard bar
• Push the foil into position, clip one side at a time by lightly pushing up on the
foil
• Ensure that the foil is securely in place before placing the shaver head back
onto the main unit
