General information

Thank you for purchasing the Iqua ACTIVE training headset. Your new device allows you to calculate your steps and consumed calories when walking or jogging, monitor your real-time

heart rate and listen to your favorite music through your compatible music player. For data transfer, the included USB dongle can be used to connect your Iqua ACTIVE to your computer,

while the HeartPal PC software is ideal for managing your workouts and user settings. The HeartPal PC software also includes a link to Facebook, allowing you to share workout information

with friends online.

GETTING STARTED

Safety

1.) This product is for exercise purposes only and is not meant to replace any medical advice or treatment.

2.) WARNING: The signals used by this device may interfere with pacemakers or other implanted devices. Always consult the manufacturer of the implant device and your physician before

using this device.

3.) The Iqua ACTIVE is not a toy. Keep it away from small children since it contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard.

Minimum system requirements

The provided USB 2.0 dongle is needed to connect the device to your PC for charging or data-transfer purposes. Your PC system must meet the following minimum requirements:

- Compatible operating system (see page 1)

- Built-in or external CD-ROM drive

- Integrated USB 1.1 (or higher) port

Connecting your Iqua ACTIVE to your PC

Connect the earphone to the USB dongle and then connect the USB dongle to your computer’s USB port. When the device is successfully connected to your PC, the LED will be blue.

Charging your Iqua ACTIVE

The sales package includes a rechargeable battery. Before using the Iqua ACTIVE, you must charge it for approximately 4 hours. The device will charge automatically when connected to a PC

via the USB dongle. When the device is connected to PC and is charging, the LED light will continuously blink orange. Once fully charged, the Iqua ACTIVE can be used for up to 12 hours.

Always use the USB dongle included in the sales package.

If the device is connected to a PC via a USB hub, the USB hub must be self-powered in order to charge the battery properly. Data transferring during charging may prolong the charging

time.

Battery power indication and low battery warning

The battery status will be indicated by the LED light. The following statuses are indicated as such:

Connect to PC & full charge Continuously blue

Connect to PC & data transfer Blinking blue

Connect to PC & under charging Blinking orange

Battery low, charger needed (less than 1h operation time Blinking blue & orange alternatively

Charge your Iqua ACTIVE immediately when the battery status is indicated as low. The device will turn off automatically after the battery is empty.

Wearing your device

Wear your Iqua ACTIVE at one of the positions shown in picture below, in order to measure your workout information properly. Use the clip on back of the device to attach it closely to your

body on your clothing.

Installing and using the HeartPal PC software

Installing the HeartPal PC software

1.) Insert the CD into your computer’s CD-ROM drive

2.) Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation

Starting HeartPal

1.) Connect the Iqua ACTIVE to your PC using a USB cable

2.) Click the Windows Start menu and select HeartPal > HeartPal
