IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the popcorn maker, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet
(230Va.c.).
3. Do not use two-way socket with another appliance.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is da ged it must be replaced with ma
the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest authorized service center.
5. Put the unit on stable surfaced; keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accident.
6. Keep curtains, furniture, ammable materials, etc. away from the unit and from the convenience outlet
where the unit is plugged in.
7. Do not place the popcorn maker near gas stove or electric stove.
8. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
9. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
10. Do not immerse the unit in water.
11. Do not use this unit other than its intended use.
12. Avoid touching the popcorn maker surface while cooking is in progress.
13. Minor metal contraction sound may occur during operation but this is normal.
14. In case of malfunctions, please bring the unit to the nearest Authorized Imarex Service Center.
15. For household use only; not intended for any business purposes.
16. Save this instruction for future reference.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
1. Wash Cover and Plastic Cap in hot soapy water with sponge or dishcloth. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
2. To clean the Stirring Rod and the Popping Surface, remove rod from Base by unscrewing Center Knob.
3. Wipe the Stirring Rod and Popping Surface with soapy cloth. Wipe with damp cloth and dry.
4. Return the Stirring Rod. Secure with the Center K . Make it sure that the Center Knob is not so tight.nob
5. The Popcorn Maker is now ready for use.
PREPARING POPCORN
• If you are using a gourmet/premium grade corn, use less amount of corn than
specied in the above chart.
HOW TO USE
1. Plug the popcorn maker into the convenience outlet.
2. Turn ON the unit.
3. Put proper amount of vegetable oil and corn into the Popping Surface. Do not add more corn or oil than
recommended. Spread corn evenly over Popping Surface.
4. Place Cover on the Base making sure handles of cover t into handle of the base. If buttered corn is
desired, divide recommended amount of butter into 6 equal sized of pats and place in popping surface
after the rst corn is pop.
Popcorn will be buttered as it pops. Do not place Plastic Cap
on until after corn is popped.
5. Popping cycling is 4 to 6 minutes, depending on quantity of the corn. Do not shake popcorn maker
during popping cycle.
6. Turn o and unplug from the convenience outlet.
7. Place the Plastic Cap on the Cover before Popcorn Maker is inverted. Make sure the handles of the
unit are aligned in the handles of the base. Grasp handles rmly and turn the unit upside down.
8. Popcorn is now ready to serve.
9. If desired, sprinkle popcorn with salt.
10. To pop another batch of corn, transfer the popcorn into another bowl then repeat steps 1 to 5.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Make sure to unplug and allow the Popcorn Maker to cool down before cleaning.
2. It is recommended to clean the unit every after use.
3. Wash Cover and Plastic Cap in hot soapy water with dishcloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
Do not use scouring pads or abrasive materials as this may cause scratch.
4. Remove the S rring Rod from Base by unscrewing the Center Knob. Wash Stirring Rod and Center ti
K hot soapy water with dishcloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Return the Stirring Rod nob in
into the Base, making sure that it ts into notched area around screw.
5. Use a damp cloth in cleaning the Popping Surface of the unit. Do not use scouring pads or abrasive
materials as this may cause scratch.
6. Do not immerse the Base on water or any other liquid.
7. Assemble the unit before storing i t.
8. Never leave the unit unclean.
