IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDSIMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using any electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of re, electrical shock and injury to persons , including the following:
1. Read all instructions before using heater.
2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surface.
Keep combustible materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and
curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m) from the heater. Allow heater to cool before moving and
then use the built-in handle for easy movement.
3. Extreme caution is necessary when heater is used by or near children and whenever
heater is left unattended.
4. Always unplug the heater when it is not in use.
5. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater malfunctions,
or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to the manufacturer for
examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
6. Do not use heater outdoors. This product is intended for normal household indoor use
only.
7. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas or similar moist indoor
locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
8. Do not run power cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners or
the like. Arrange cord away from trafc areas and where it will not be tripped over.
9. To disconnect heater, set controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
10. Keep this heater clean. DO NOT allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust
opening as this may cause electric shock, or re, or damage the heater.
11. To prevent a possible re, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use
on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
12. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline,
paint, or ammable liquids are used or stored.
13. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause re, electric shock, or injury to persons.
14.Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
15. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming
pool.
16. The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
17. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent
or a similarly qualied person in order to avoid a hazard.
18. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

19. Correct Disposal of this product
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes
throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from
uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material
resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact
the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental
safe recycling.
20. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. Children
aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/o the appliance provided that it
has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate
and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
21. CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular
attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
22. This heater is lled with a precise quantity of special oil.
Repairs requiring opening of oil-container are only to be made by the manufacturer or his
service agent who should be contacted if there is an oil leak.
When scrapping the heater, follow the regulations concerning the disposal of oil.
WARNING: IN ORDER TO AVOID OVERHEATING, DO NOT COVER THE HEATER.
