Your new Digital Postal Scale weighs items up to
five pounds (2.2 kg) in 0.1 ounce (1 g) increments.
This User Guide provides instructions for using
the scale.
Unpacking the Scale
The scale is shipped with a protective ring under
the scale platform. You must remove this ring
before using the scale.
To unpack the scale
1. Unpack the scale.
2. Set the scale on a firm, flat surface.
3. Remove the protective ring from under the scale platform.
4. Remove the protective film from the scale display.
Inserting the Battery
The scale uses one 9-volt alkaline battery.
To insert the battery
1. Turn the scale over.
2. Remove the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert a 9-volt battery into the battery
compartment as shown.
Make sure to insert the battery correctly. Inserting the battery backwards can damage
the scale and cause smoke or burning.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Remove the battery if the scale will not be used for a long period of time.
Turning On the Power
The scale has an Auto Shut Off feature which turns the scale off automatically after thirty
seconds of inactivity. You can turn off this Auto Shut Off feature.
To turn the scale on

Press the
ON/TARE
button on the front of the scale.
When the scale is first turned on, wait a few seconds for the scale to stabilize before
weighing items. The display shows 0.0 when ready.
To turn the scale off

Press the
OFF
button on the front of the scale.
