AUGENABSTAND EINSTELLEN
• Halten Sie das Fernglas mit beiden Händen.
• Blicken Sie durch die Okulare und drücken das Fernglas
zusammen oder auseinander bis Sie nur noch einen runden
Kreis sehen.
FOKUSSIEREN/SCHARFSTELLEN/EINSTELLUNG
DER DIOPTRIEN
• Schließen Sie Ihr rechtes Auge und justieren Sie die Schärfe
indem Sie am Fokusierrad ( ) drehen. Das Bild sollte mit dem 1
linken Auge klar und scharf zu sehen sein.
• Nun schließen Sie das linke Auge. Drehen Sie an der Dioptrien-
Einstellung ( ) bis das Bild klar und scharf wird. Merken Sie sich 2
diese Einstellungen für zukünftige Beobachtungen.
FÜR BRILLENTRÄGER
• Die Augenmuscheln können von Brillenträger umgestülpt (3)
oder herausgedreht ( ) werden, um das Gesichtsfeld zu ver4-
größern und die Beobachtungen zu erleichtern.
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE IHRES FERNGLASES
1. Die Frontlinsen und Okulare sollten bei Nichtbenutzung immer mit den Schutzkappen (falls im Lie-
ferumfang enthalten) abgedeckt werden. Bewahren Sie das Fernglas in der mitgelieferten Tasche
auf.
2. Zum Reinigen der Linsen und Okulare nehmen Sie ein faserfreies, weiches Reinigungstuch. Bei
starker Verschmutzung kann das Tuch mit geeigneten Reinigungsmittel leicht angefeuchtet werden
(Reinigungsmittel nie direkt auf Linse oder Okular auftragen).
3. Bewahren Sie Ihr Fernglas an einem trockenen und staubfreien Ort auf.
4. Nehmen Sie Ihr Fernglas zur Reinigung oder Reparatur nicht selbst auseinander. Wenden Sie sich
bitte an Fachpersonal.
VORSICHT Schauen Sie mit Ihrem Fernglas niemals direkt in
die Sonne – dies könnte zu dauerhaften Schäden oder Erblin-
dung führen!

SETTING THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE EYES
• Hold your binocular with both hands and look
through the eyepieces.
• Move the binocular at the prisms in such a way that you see a
circle in the field of vision.
FOCUSSING/DIOPTRE SETTING
• Close the right eye and adjust the picture by turning the centre
wheel ( ). The picture should look clear and sharp to the left 1
eye.
• Now close the left eye. Turn the dioptre setting ( ) until the 2
object becomes clear and sharp. Note this setting for future
observations.
FOR EYEGLASS WEARERS
• Eyeglass wearers can either retract ( ) or twist up ( ) the eyecups 3 4
(depending on model) for a wider field of view and more com-
fortable observation.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF BINOCULARS
1. When the binocular is not in use always cover the lenses and eyepieces with the protective caps (if
supplied). Store the binocular in the supplied bag.
2. To clean the lenses and eyepieces use a soft and lint-less cleaning cloth. To remove stubborn dirt
slightly damp the cleaning cloth with a special lens cleaning fluid (never apply the fluid directly
onto the lenses or eyepieces).
3. Store the binocular in a dry and dust free place.
4. Do not attempt disassemble the binocular yourself for cleaning or repair. Please contact your local
dealer or service agent.
CAUTION Never look through the binoculars
directly into the sun – risk of eye injury or blind-
ness!
