HOW IT WORKS:
Octave Control:
This control is used to
increase/decrease the
amount of low octave
being added to the signal.
Turn this clockwise to
increase the amount
of low octave.
Sub Control:
This control is used to
increase/decrease the
amount of Synthesized
Subharmonic added to the
signal. Turn this clockwise
to increase the amount of
Synthesized Subharmonic.
Output Level Control:
This control is used to adjust
the output level of your
signal (when the e ect is
on). Turn this clockwise to
increase the output level.
Output Connector
(TRS):
Connect this to the input of
your ampli er and/or your
other e ects. This output
allows you to route an dry,
una ected signal (Ring) and
a ected signal (Tip) to your
ampli er and other e ects
simultaneously via a TRS “Y”
cable. Tip = Octave+Sub,
Ring = Dry, Sleeve = Ground
LED Power Indicator
This lights up when the
pedal is on.
Footswitch
Press to turn the e ect on
or o .
Placement of the DOD Meatbox:
Most guitarists/bassists will favor placing the DOD Meatbox
toward the beginning of their chain of e ects, so start with
that placement.
That being said, you may wish to experiment with e ect
placement to nd the sound that best ts your playing.
Input Connector:
Connect your instrument
or the output of another
e ect pedal to this input
connector.
Low Control:
This control is used to
increase/decrease the
low frequency content
of the output, this keeps
the extreme lows from
overwhelming your amp
and speakers.
Setup of the DOD Meatbox:
Start with the controls at 12:00, their midpoint.
Then adjust to taste. If the result is too extreme, turn the
controls down to lower settings.
All settings will be heavily dependent on the output level
of your instrument, the dynamic range of your playing style
and the results you want from the e ect.
Power Supply Connector:
Connect a standard 9V power supply
(optional) to this connector.
