Bio-Ethanol lantern (EN)

Warning:
• When use Bio-Ethanol lantern, please follow the national as well as local
regulations which have to be used for the installment of such device.
• Please be sure to open windows when use Bio-Ethanol lantern.
• Do not ignite the device if it is still warm.
• Construction of the appliance cannot be changed.
• Only spare parts authorized by the manufacturer can be used.
• Do not move appliance during use.
• If ventilation is sufficient. Multiple use of other simultaneous device can be
allowed.
• The Ethanol fuel minimum purity should equal for more than 95%.
• Maximum burning time: 1 hour
• This lantern is designed for table use.
Bio-Ethanol lantern is a environmental lantern, which you can put anywhere in the
house. People can enjoy a real fire and no need to install a chimney. As Bio-Ethanol
burns with virtually no residue, ventilation by means of an open window suffices in
most cases involving a room of adequate size.
Before using the lantern, please carefully read through the operating instructions, and
store it in a safe place. The instructions are packed with the product. The
manufacturer and importer assume no liability in the event the data in these
instructions has not been observed! Please note people should always be present
when the lantern is burning.

Assembly
Attention: Never place the fire compartment in the Lantern when filled
to prevent Bio-Ethanol from being inadvertently spilled on parts of the
product or in its vicinity.
1. Mount the bottom plate on to the lantern with screws.
2. Put the burner into the Lantern.
3. Keeping the device is placed on a smooth and level setup area.
4. Assembly platform must support a minimum of 10 kg. If it can’t meet 10 kg,
additional support is required.
Adding Bio-Ethanol
1. Do not take out the fiber.
2. Take out inner burner and add Bio-Ethanol into the inner burner.
3. When adding Bio-Ethanol, please do not exceed the max sign in the burner.
4. Place the inner burner back to the outer burner.
Igniting Bio-Ethanol
1. After filled with a sufficient amount of Bio-Ethanol, ignite the fire compartment.
2. Mirror deflagration or darting flames may result. Do not light the fire from above; it
should be lighted from the side. Ensure to keep a safe distance from the device.
3. The lantern can only to be use in rooms of adequate size. The room size should
amount to at least 66 m3, which corresponds to floor space of 30 m
2 with a room
height of 2.20m.
4. Make sure the lantern it is not placed on a heat-sensitive or flammable base and
that no accumulation of heat can occur on ceilings and walls. For this purpose,
ensure the distance between the device and the room ceiling is at least 1.8 meters.
5. Please keep a minimum distance of 1 meter away from any burnable material and
objects.
Note: if you could not ignite the Bio-Ethanol in the fire compartment after repeated
attempts. It is possible that a significant portion of the alcohol has already evaporated;
thereby reducing it ignitability. In such case, you'd better wait a few minutes and then
dispose of the Bio-Ethanol, which is still in the fire compartment. Never dispose of it at
a collection point for hazardous substances.
