1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Important Warnings
Before using your appliance read this instrucon manual carefully and keep it in a
safe place as you may need to consult it in the future.
Before powering on your appliance, and to ensure correct use, do not use it if:
• It has fallen on the ground;
• You noce any evidence of damage;
• Any anomaly occurs during its operaon.
To avoid hazards and deterioraon of your appliance through incorrect use it is
advisable to read the instrucons carefully and aenvely.
Your appliance must not be used for other purposes than those described in
the instrucon manual. Safety is only guaranteed for household use and not for
commercial use. Incorrect use is not covered and automacally voids the warranty.
Assistance
If there is a malfunction take your appliance to a qualified technician for
assistance.
This appliance can be used by children from the age
of 8 years old and by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilies or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given instrucon
in using the appliance safely and if they understand
the hazards involved. Children must not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not
be carried out by children without supervision.

1.1. Power Supply
Make sure the mains voltage is compable with the appliance voltage. If this is not
the case consult the vendor or Customer Support Service.

Warning: to avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
remove the cover. The interior does not contain
any parts that can be repaired by the user. Ask for
assistance by qualified personnel.

• Do not block air outlets or air inlets. It may cause a malfuncon.
• Do not spill water on the remote control, as this may damage the remote
control.
• If any of the phenomena below occur, please turn o the air condioner,
disconnect the power immediately, and then contact the dealer or qualied
professionals for service:
> Power cord is overheang or damaged.
> There is an abnormal sound during operaon.
> Frequent tripping of the circuit breaker.
> Air condioner gives o a burning smell.
> Indoor unit is leaking.
• If the air condioner operates under abnormal condions, it may cause a
malfuncon, electric shock or re hazard.
• When turning the unit on or o using the emergency operaon switch, please
press this switch using a non-metallic insulang object.
• Do not step onto or place heavy objects on top of the outdoor unit. It may cause
damage or personal injury.
• Installaon must be performed by qualied professionals in accordance with
the requirements of NEC and CEC. Otherwise, it may cause personal injury or
damage.
• Electrical safety regulaons must be followed when installing the unit.
• In accordance with the local safety regulaons, use a compliant power supply
circuit and circuit breaker. Do install a circuit break. Not doing so, may cause
malfuncon.
• An all-pole disconnecon switch with a contact separaon of at least 3 mm for
all poles should be connected in xed wiring.
• When including a circuit breaker with suitable capacity, please note the table in
subsequent pages. The air switch should include a magnet buckle and a heang
buckle funcon to protect the unit from short-circuit and overload.
• Make sure the power supply matches the air condioner’s requirements. An
unstable power supply or incorrect wiring may cause a malfuncon. Please
install suitable power supply cables before using the air condioner.
• Correctly connect the live wire, neutral wire and ground wire of the power
socket.
• Be sure to cut o the power supply before proceeding with any work related to
electricity and safety.
• Do not reconnect the power before nishing the installaon.
• The temperature of refrigerant circuit will be high, please keep the
interconnecon cable away from the copper tube.
• The appliance shall be installed in accordance with naonal wiring regulaons.
• The air condioner is a rst class electric appliance. It must be properly
grounded with a specialized grounding device by a professional. Please make
sure it is always grounded eecvely, otherwise it may cause electric shocks.
• The yellow-green wire in the air condioner is the grounding wire, which cannot
be used for any other purposes.
