INSTRUCTIONS

• This section concerns only appliances with polarized plug (one blade of
the plug is wider than the other): to reduce the risk of electric shock, the
appliance is fitted with polarized plug. This plug will fit in a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install
the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
• Use the appliance for its intended use only.
• To reduce the risk of contact with hot water emitting from steam
vents, check the appliance before each use by holding it away from
the body and operating the steam button.
• The surfaces which are marked with this sign means the steam
head is very hot during the use of the appliance. Do not touch this
surface before the appliance has completely cooled down.
• Never disconnect the appliance by pulling on the power cord; instead,
grasp the plug and pull to remove from the socket outlet.
• Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or come into contact with
rough or sharp edges. Let the appliance cool completely down before
putting away. Loop the cord loosely around the appliance when storing.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply when filling
with water or emptying when cleaning, when removing or applying
accessories and when not in use.
