IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS AIR PURIFIER

AND SAVE THESE IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

1. This Air Puriﬁ er is designed for use on a ﬂ at, level ﬂ oor and may not work

properly on an uneven ﬂ oor. ALWAYS place this Air Puriﬁ er on a ﬁ rm, level

ﬂ oor. ALWAYS place the Air Puriﬁ er at least six (6) inches away from walls and

heat sources such as stoves, radiators, or heaters.

2. Place the Air Puriﬁ er in an area that is out of the reach of children.

3. Before using the Air Puriﬁ er, extend the cord and inspect for any signs of

damage. DO NOT use the product if the cord has been damaged.

4. This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety

feature. This plug will ﬁ t into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does

not ﬁ t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not ﬁ t, contact a

qualiﬁ ed electrician. attempt to defeat or override this safety feature.DO NOT

5. ALWAYS UNPLUG the Air Puriﬁ er when it is not in operations, while the

ﬁ lter is being changed, and while it is being cleaned.

6. DO NOT tilt or move the Air Puriﬁ er while it is in operation. Shut off and

unplug before moving.

7. DO NOT immerse the Air Puriﬁ er in water as permanent damage will occur.

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the QuietFlo® True HEPA Air Puriﬁ er from Hunter Fan

Company. You have purchased our latest development in portable Air Puriﬁ cation

Systems. This system has been developed to improve the quality of the air you breathe.

Our QuietFlo® True HEPA Air Puriﬁ er out performs other air puriﬁ cation systems

by quickly and effectively removing dust, smoke, and pollen particles. Room air is

pulled in through the front grill and cleaned across the HEPA Filter. Clean air is then

released out the top grill.

The HEPA Filter will remove 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns in size from air that

passes through the ﬁ lter.

The activated carbon pre-ﬁ lter helps remove cooking, smoke, and pet odors from the

air. It also traps lint, hair, and large particles, which helps improve the life and perfor-

mance of the HEPA Filter.

Setting Up Your Air Puriﬁ er

1. Remove your air puriﬁ er from the box and take it out of the clear plastic protective bag.

2. Place your QuietFlo® Air Puriﬁ er on a ﬁ rm, ﬂ at ﬂ oor.

3. Before turning the Air Puriﬁ er ‘on,’ open the front grill.

• For Models 30090 & 37090: To release the front grill, place your ﬁ ngers

behind the tabs and pull forward. (Refer to Figure 1.)

• For Models 30105: To release the front grill, press the buttons on the side

until the front grill slides easily over the buttons. (Refer to Figure 2.)

4. The HEPA Filter is already installed in the correct position, but you need to con-

ﬁ rm that it is fully inserted. To remove, grasp the edge of the ﬁ lter frame and pull

it forward. Notice the orientation of the ﬂ aps and seal, which should be pressed

ﬁ rmly into the ﬁ lter opening.

5. The carbon pre-ﬁ lter is mounted inside the front grill with “hook” tape. Conﬁ rm

that it covers the grill vents. (Refer to Figure 3.)

6. Place the ﬁ lter installation reminder sticker on the inside edge of the front grill.

Circle the month and write the year of installation for the pre-ﬁ lter and HEPA Filter.

7. Replace the ﬁ lter and front grill. Be sure that the bottom grill tabs are in position

ﬁ rst, and then push the top of the grill forward until it is closed. The unit is now

ready for normal operation. NOTE: This unit will not operate unless the door is

placed in the correct position.

8. Plug the unit into a 120V electrical outlet.
