When using an electrical appliance, basic safety

9. Do not let cord hang over the edge of the

table or countertop or touch hot surfaces.

10. Do not place toaster on or near a hot gas or

electric burner or in a heated oven.

11. Do not use this toaster for other than

intended use.

12. OVERSIZE FOODS, METAL FOIL

PACKAGES OR UTENSILS MUST NOT BE

INSERTED IN THE TOASTER, AS THEY

MAY INVOLVE A RISK OF FIRE OR

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade

is wider than the other). As a safety feature,

this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one

way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,

reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact

a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat

INTRODUCTION

Congratulations! The purchase of this Cool

Touch Toaster means that breakfasts at your

place are going to be bigger and better than

ever before. The wide, self-centering slots will

hold bagels, thick homemade breads, muffins

and even thin sliced baked goods securely,

toasting them to perfection – up to four slices

at a time!

This is one toaster that is sure to please

everyone, with a Browning Dial that goes from

light to dark, and the Always Even™Shade

Control to monitor temperature for consistent

toasting, slice after slice. English Muffins will

come right to the top with the high lift carriage,

and cleanup is simple with the slide-out crumb

tray. You can even defrost and reheat. There are

easy-to-use, easy-to-clean buttons right on top.

1. Extra Wide & Long Toasting Slot:

1-1/2" Wide Toaster Slot. Allows for

toasting a wide variety of breads,

bagels and pastries.

2. Easy to Use Browning Dial:

Sets desired toast color from light to dark.

Turn Browning Dial counterclockwise for

lighter toast and clockwise for darker toast.

The color band around the dial indicates the

level of brownness – the darker the band,

the darker the toast.

3. Start / Carriage Lever:

Lowers bread into slot to start toaster,

and pops up automatically at end of

cycle. Also use to pop up toast before

end of cycle.

Controls:

Easy to clean panel for special settings.

LED Indicator lights when a Setting is selected.

4. Defrost Setting:

One-touch button control automatically

defrosts, then toasts frozen items by

adding time to the toasting cycle.

5. Reheat Setting:

Button control reheats without

further browning.

6. Cancel Control:

Button control interrupts toasting

process and cancels special settings.

7. Always Even™Shade Control: (not shown)

Electronically monitors and adjusts

toaster's internal temperature to provide

consistent toasting results from one use to

the next. Heating elements deliver even

heat for uniform browning.

8. Self-Centering Bread Rack: (not shown)

Centers breads of all shapes & sizes

in the middle of toaster chamber for more

even toasting results.

9. Cool Touch Housing (not shown)

10. Extra-Lift Control Lever:

Brings the toast close to the top of the

toaster, making it easy to remove even

small items like English muffins.

11. Slide-out Crumb Tray:

Removes easily, so crumbs can be

cleaned from bottom of toaster.

Conveniently stores excess cord and

keeps countertop neat.
