- The pipe must be cut straight and clean.
- Overtightening could cause the plastic to break.
Note: Watertight installation of the drain is
the installer’s responsability. Damages
caused by drain leakage are excluded from
the limited warranty of the product.
Shower floor
Installation steps:
1. Remove the ‘Grid’, the ‘Compression Ring’ & ‘Rubber Donut’
from the top. Then remove the locknut & both gaskets from the bottom.
2. Install the ‘Body’ in the Shower floor opening.
3. Install the ‘Rubber Gasket’, then ‘Paper Gasket’ and the ‘Locknut,
under the shower floor, then tighten by hand first and complete
with a basket strainer wrench.
4. Install the shower over the drain pipe. Mark & cut the pipe if necessary.
5. Slide the ‘Rubber Donut’ into the ‘Drain Body’ and slip it over the pipe.
Use vegetal lubricant or soap if necessary. Make sure that the beveled
end of the ‘Rubber Donut’ is facing up and that the top is flush with the
pipe or slightly lower.
6. Tighten the ‘Compression Ring’ into the ‘Drain Body’ with a screwdriver
using the provided ‘Tool Plate’.
7. Remove and recycle the ‘Tool Plate’.
8. Snap the ‘Grid’ back in place.
