INBETRIEBNAHME
Je nach Ausführung/Länderversion können unterschiedliche Netzstecker z.B. Euro oder
UK für das Netzteil im Lieferumfang enthalten sein. Sofern der passende Stecker nicht
vormontiert ist, setzen Sie diesen über den beiden Kontakten des Netzteils auf und
schieben Sie den Stecker bis zum Anschlag in der Führung (siehe Abbildung [1]). Achten
Sie darauf, dass der Stecker beim Aufschieben hörbar einrastet. Verbinden Sie das
Netzteil mit einer geeigneten Steckdose.
Um den Netzstecker zu wechseln, drücken Sie die Arretierungsnase unterhalb des
Steckers (z.B. mit einem Stift) soweit ein, bis er sich etwas nach oben schieben und
entnehmen lässt.
BEDIENUNG
Einfaches Laden mit voreingestellten Parametern
1. Legen Sie den Akku polrichtig, entsprechend dem Symbol im Ladeschacht, ein.
2. Nach dem Einlegen blinkt die Anzeige im LC-Display. Es wird die Akkuspannung
in Volt sowie das voreingestellte Ladeprogramm „CHARGE“ (Laden) und danach
der voreingestellte Ladestrom von 600mA angezeigt. Anschließend startet der
Ladevorgang automatisch. Eine Erwärmung der Akkus während des Ladevorganges
ist normal. Sobald der Akku vollgeladen ist, erscheint im Display die Anzeige „FULL“
und der Akku wird mit Erhaltungsladung versorgt. Diese Funktion garantiert eine
optimale Performance und verhindert die Selbstentladung der Akkus. Entnehmen Sie
den Akku und trennen Sie das Produkt von der Stromversorgung.
Erweiterte Funktionen
Das Ladegerät hat 3 Funktionstasten, „CURRENT“, „DISPLAY“ und „MODE“ (siehe
Abbildung [2]) über die Sie folgende Einstellungen vornehmen können:

1. MODE (Modus) Taste
Drücken Sie die „MODE“ Taste innerhalb von 8 Sekunden nach Einlegen von 1-4 Akkus,
um eines der folgenden Ladeprogramme auszuwählen:
a. CHARGE
Akku wird geladen. Nach vollständiger Ladung erfolgt eine automatische Umschaltung
auf Impuls-Erhaltungsladung (auch bei den nachfolgenden Ladeprogrammen).
b. DISCHARGE
Akku wird erst entladen, dann geladen um den Memory Effekt zu minimieren.
c. REFRESH
(im LCD wird „DISCHARGE REFRESH“ oder „CHARGE REFRESH“ angezeigt)  Akku wird
zur Auffrischung mehrmals entladen und geladen. Um einen Akku wieder auf seine
maximale Kapazität zu bringen, wird er solange entladen und geladen (max. 10 Mal), bis
keine Kapazitätssteigerung mehr zu erkennen ist.
d. TEST
(im LCD wird „CHARGE TEST“ oder „DISCHARGE TEST“ angezeigt)  Akku wird erst
geladen, dann zur Messung der Kapazität in mAh/Ah entladen und danach wieder
geladen.
2. CURRENT (Strom) Taste
Drücken Sie die „CURRENT“ Taste innerhalb von 8 Sekunden nach Auswahl des
Ladeprogramms oder nach Einsetzen des letzten Akkus um den Ladestrom für das
Programm „CHARGE“ oder „TEST“ bzw. den Entladestrom für das Programm „DISCHARGE“
oder „REFRESH“ auszuwählen.
3. DISPLAY (Anzeige) Taste
Drücken Sie während des Ladens oder Entladens die „DISPLAY“ Taste zur Anzeige des
Lade-/Entladestroms (in mA), der Akkuspannung (in V), der Lade-/Entladekapazität (in
mAh oder Ah) oder der abgelaufenen Lade-/Entladezeit (in hh:mm).
Nachdem Sie Ihre Einstellungen über die Funktionstasten vorgenommen haben, startet
das Ladegerät mit den gewählten Parametern nach 8 Sekunden automatisch, sofern
keine weitere Auswahl erfolgt.
Hinweis: Falls Sie für mehrere Akkus den gleichen Modus wählen möchten, legen
Sie zuerst die Akkus ein und schließen Sie danach das Netzteil an. Nehmen Sie dann
die Einstellungen vor. Diese Einstellungen werden für alle belegten Ladefächer
übernommen. Sie können aber auch jedes Ladefach individuell belegen und einstellen.

Nachdem Sie den Akku eingelegt haben, haben Sie 8 Sekunden Zeit, um den Modus zu
wählen und weitere 8 Sekunden um den Ladestrom zu wählen. Erfolgt 8 Sekunden keine
Eingabe, startet der Ladevorgang mit den voreingestellten Parametern automatisch.
Um eine Funktion für einen einzelnen Akku zu ändern, entnehmen Sie diesen kurz und
kontaktieren Sie ihn erneut. Die Anzeige für diesen Akku blinkt und Sie können nun wie
oben beschrieben über die Funktionstasten „MODE“ und/oder „CURRENT“ Einstellungen
für diesen einzelnen Ladeschacht vornehmen.
Wenn Sie nur einen oder zwei Akkus in dem Ladegerät laden und dazu nur die beiden
äußeren Ladeschächte nutzen, können Sie bei den Programmen „CHARGE“ und „TEST“
den Ladestrom mit der „CURRENT“ Taste auf 1500mA oder 1800mA einstellen. In diesem
Fall sind die beiden inneren Ladeschächte ohne Funktion. Wenn Sie drei oder vier Akkus
gleichzeitig laden möchten, können Sie den Ladestrom auf 400mA, 600mA oder 800mA
einstellen. Bei den Programmen „DISCHARGE“ und „REFRESH“ werden Akkus zuerst
entladen, deshalb können Sie hier die Entladeströme von 200mA, 300mA oder 400mA
auswählen. Beim anschließenden Ladevorgang ist der Ladestrom dann doppelt so hoch
wie der gewählte Entladestrom.
Einige Minuten bevor die Akkus vollständig aufgeladen sind reduziert das Ladegerät
den Ladestrom auf ca. 200mA, unabhängig vom zuvor gewählten Ladestrom. Diese
schonende Vollladung verlängert die Lebensdauer Ihrer Akkus.
Das Ladegerät legt nach jeder erfolgten Ladung bzw. Entladung eine kurze Pause zur
Akkuschonung ein, bevor das gewählte Lade-/Entladeprogramm fortgesetzt wird.
ACHTUNG: Stellen Sie sicher, dass ihre Akkus für den jeweiligen Ladestrom ausgelegt
sind. Micro (AAA) Akkus sollten Sie nicht mit 1500mA oder 1800mA laden! Wir empfehlen
Ihnen, den maximalen Ladestrom (mA) so zu wählen, dass er den Kapazitätswert
(mAh) Ihres Akkus nicht übersteigt. So vermeiden Sie eine übermäßige Erwärmung und
schonen den Akku.

LC-DISPLAY
Während des Betriebs können Sie sich die unter Punkt 3 (DISPLAY) beschriebenen
Parameter anzeigen lassen. Zusätzlich wird das gewählte Ladeprogramm und
der aktuelle Vorgang (CHARGE = Laden oder DISCHARGE = Entladen) angezeigt. In
der Abbildung [3] sehen Sie ein Beispiel der Anzeige im LC-Display. Hier wurden 4
verschiedene Displaymodi und 4 unterschiedliche Ladeprogramme gewählt.
„Full“ wird angezeigt, wenn der Ladevorgang beendet ist und der Akku mit
Erhaltungsladung versorgt wird.
Nach Beendigung des Ladeprogramms „TEST“ und „REFRESH“ wechselt die Anzeige
zwischen „Full“ und der gemessenen Entladekapazität in mAh/Ah.
Die Hintergrundbeleuchtung des LCD schaltet sich bei Netzanschluss ein und erlischt
nach 30 Sekunden, falls kein Akku eingelegt wird. Sie leuchtet solange ein Ladevorgang
läuft und erlischt automatisch 30 Sekunden nachdem der letzte Akku vollständig
aufgeladen wurde. Durch Drücken einer Funktionstaste kann die Beleuchtung für
30 Sekunden aktiviert werden. Sofern während des Ladevorgangs ein defekter Akku
erkannt wird, bleibt die Hintergrundbeleuchtung dauerhaft an.

Many thanks for choosing the POWERLINE 4.2 PRO multifunction charger from ANSMANN.
These operating instructions will help you to get the best from the functions of your
new charger. We hope you enjoy this new charger.

PROPER INTENDED USE
The product is designed for charging 1-4 NiMH rechargeable batteries of size AA
and AAA. The product is intended exclusively for private household use and not for
commercial use.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read through the complete operating instructions carefully before using the
product for the first time. They contain important information for handling the
product.
If you pass on the product to third parties, pass on these operating
instructions as well.
• Check the product for damage. If you discover damage, do not use the product.
Contact your dealer.
• Keep the product and the packaging away from children. This product is not a toy.
Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the
product.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and usermaintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
• The appliance is only to be used with the power supply unit provided with the
appliance.
• Read all information and safety instructions on the charger and on the rechargeable
batteries before using the charger.

USE
Different mains plugs may be included, e.g. Euro or UK, depending on the design and
the specific country variant. If the correct plug is not already fitted, position this over
the two contacts of the mains adapter and slide the plug into the guide until it reaches
the stop (see fig. [1]). Ensure that the plug latches into place audibly when sliding on.
Connect the mains adapter with a suitable mains outlet.
To change the mains plug, press the locking tab underneath the plug (e.g. with a pen) in
until it can slide a little upwards and be removed.
OPERATION
Simple charging with preset parameters
1. Insert the rechargeable battery with the correct polarity as shown by the symbol in
the charge bay.
2. After inserting, the indicator in the LCD display flashes. The rechargeable battery
voltage in volts and the preset charge program "CHARGE" are displayed and then
the preset charge current of 600mA is displayed. Then the charge process starts
automatically. Warming of the rechargeable batteries during the charge process is
normal. As soon as the rechargeable battery is fully charged, "FULL" appears in the
display and the rechargeable battery is supplied with maintenance charging. This
function guarantees optimum performance and prevents the self-discharge of the
rechargeable battery. Take out the rechargeable battery and disconnect the product
from the power supply.
Advanced functions
The charger has 3 function buttons, "CURRENT", "DISPLAY" and "MODE" (see fig. [2])
which can be used to set the following properties:

After you have inserted the rechargeable battery, you have 8 seconds to select the
mode and a further 8 seconds to select the charge current. If there is no input for 8
seconds, the charge process starts automatically with the preset parameters.
In order to change a function for an individual rechargeable battery, remove this briefly
and then insert it again. The display for this rechargeable battery flashes and you can
now make the changes for this individual charge slot with the "MODE" and/or "CURRENT"
buttons, as described above.
If you are charging just one or two rechargeable batteries in the charger and are using
only the two outermost charge bays for this, you can set the charge current to 1500mA
or 1800mA with the "CURRENT" button for the "CHARGE" and "TEST" programs. In this
case, the two inner charge bays will not operate. If you want to charge three or four
rechargeable batteries at the same time, you can set the charge current to 400mA,
600mA or 800mA. With the "DISCHARGE" and "REFRESH" programs, the rechargeable
batteries are first discharged and so discharge currents of 200mA, 300mA or 400mA can
be selected here. The subsequent charge process is carried out with twice the current
level than was used for the discharge process.
A few minutes before the rechargeable battery is fully charged, the charger reduces
the charge current to ca. 200mA, regardless of the charge current selected beforehand.
The gentle charging system increases the service life of your rechargeable batteries.
After charging or discharging is complete, the charger waits for a brief period to protect
the rechargeable batteries before continuing with the selected discharge/charge
program.
ATTENTION: Ensure that your rechargeable batteries are designed for the respective
charge current. AAA rechargeable batteries should not be charged with 1500mA or
1800mA! We recommend selecting the maximum charge current (mA) such that it
does not exceed the capacity value (mAh) of your rechargeable battery. This prevents
excessive heat build-up and protects the rechargeable battery.

LCD DISPLAY
During operation you can have the parameters described under point 3 (DISPLAY)
displayed. In addition, the selected charge program and the current process (CHARGE or
DISCHARGE) will also be displayed. An example of the LCD display can be seen in Fig. [3].
4 different display modes and 4 different charge programs have been selected here.
"Full" is displayed when the charge process is complete and the rechargeable battery is
supplied with maintenance charging.
After the "TEST" and "REFRESH" programs have ended, the display alternates between
"Full" and the measured discharge capacity in mAh/Ah.
The backlighting of the LCD display switches on when the mains is connected and
extinguishes after 30 seconds if no rechargeable batteries have been inserted. It is
illuminated so long as a charge process is running and extinguishes automatically 30
seconds after the last rechargeable battery has been fully charged. The lighting can be
activated for 30 seconds by pressing a function button. If a faulty rechargeable battery
is detected during the charge process, the backlighting remains on permanently.

b. DISCHARGE
Pile tout d’abord déchargée, puis rechargée pour réduire l’effet de mémoire.
c. REFRESH
(Sur l’écran LCD, affichage « DISCHARGE REFRESH » ou « CHARGE REFRESH »)  Pile
déchargée et rechargée plusieurs fois pour être rafraîchie. Pour ramener une pile à sa
capacité maximale, celle-ci est déchargée et rechargée (max. 10 fois) jusqu’à ce que la
capacité n’augmente plus.
d. TEST
(Sur l’écran LCD, affichage « CHARGE TEST » ou « DISCHARGE TEST »)  La pile est tout
d’abord rechargée, puis déchargée en vue de mesurer la capacité en mAh/Ah, puis à
nouveau rechargée.
2. Touche CURRENT (courant)
Appuyez sur la touche « CURRENT » sous 8 secondes après la sélection du programme
de charge ou après l’insertion de la dernière pile afin de choisir le courant de charge
pour le programme « CHARGE » ou « TEST » ou pour choisir le courant de décharge pour
le programme « DISCHARGE » ou « REFRESH ».
3. Touche DISPLAY (affichage)
Pendant le chargement ou le déchargement, appuyez sur la touche « DISPLAY » pour
afficher le courant de charge / décharge (en mA), la tension de la pile (en V), la capacité
de charge / décharge (en mAh ou Ah) ou la durée de charge / décharge écoulée (en
hh:mm).
Après avoir effectué vos réglages avec les touches de fonction, le chargeur démarre
automatiquement après 8 secondes avec les paramètres sélectionnés si vous ne
procédez pas à d’autres sélections.
Remarque : Si vous souhaitez choisir le même mode pour plusieurs piles, insérez tout
d’abord les piles, puis branchez ensuite le bloc d’alimentation. Procédez ensuite aux
réglages. Ces réglages sont pris en charge pour tous les compartiments occupés. Vous
pouvez aussi occuper et régler individuellement chaque compartiment de charge.
Une fois que vous avez inséré la pile, vous avez 8 secondes pour choisir le mode et 8
secondes supplémentaires pour choisir le courant de charge. Si aucune saisie n’a lieu
pendant 8 secondes, le processus de chargement démarre automatiquement avec les
paramètres prédéfinis.

Pour modifier une fonction pour une pile individuelle, retirez la pile et remettez-la en
place. L’affichage pour cette pile clignote et vous pouvez effectuer les réglages pour
ce compartiment individuel comme décrit plus haut à l’aide des touches de fonction
« MODE » et / ou « CURRENT ».
Si vous ne chargez qu'une seule pile ou deux piles dans le chargeur et que vous
n’utilisez pour cela que les deux compartiments de charge extérieurs, vous pouvez
régler le courant de charge avec la touche « CURRENT » sur 1500mA ou 1800mA pour les
programmes « CHARGE » et « TEST ». Dans ce cas, les deux compartiments intérieurs
sont sans fonction. Si vous souhaitez charger simultanément trois ou quatre piles, vous
pouvez régler le courant de charge sur 400mA, 600mA ou 800mA. Pour les programmes
« DISCHARGE » et « REFRESH », les piles sont tout d’abord déchargées ; vous pouvez
donc sélectionner ici des courants de décharge de 200mA, 300mA ou 400mA. Lors du
processus de charge suivant, le courant de charge est alors deux fois plus élevé que le
courant de décharge sélectionné.
Quelques minutes avant que les piles soient totalement rechargées, le chargeur
réduit le courant de charge à env. 200mA, indépendamment du courant de charge
préalablement sélectionné. Cette charge complète douce prolonge la durée de vie de
vos piles.
Après chaque charge ou décharge terminée, le chargeur fait une courte pause pour
ménager la pile avant de poursuivre le programme de charge / décharge sélectionné.
ATTENTION : Assurez-vous que vos piles sont conçues pour le courant de charge
correspondant. Ne chargez pas les piles Micro (AAA) avec 1500mA ou 1800mA ! Nous
vous recommandons de choisir le courant de charge maximal (mA) de manière à ce
qu’il ne dépasse pas la valeur de capacité (mAh) de votre pile. Vous évitez ainsi un
réchauffement excessif et vous protégez la pile.

ÉCRAN LCD
Pendant le fonctionnement, vous pouvez faire afficher les paramètres décrits au point
3 (ÉCRAN). Par ailleurs, le programme de charge sélectionné et le processus actuel
(CHARGE = chargement ou DISCHARGE = déchargement) sont affichés. Vous voyez sur
l’illustration [3] un exemple d’affichage sur l’écran LCD. Nous avons sélectionné ici 4
modes d’affichage différents et 4 programmes de charge différents.
L’écran affiche « Full » si le processus de charge est terminé et si la pile est alimentée
avec la charge d’entretien.
Après la fin du programme de charge « TEST » et « REFRESH », l’affichage passe entre
« Full » et la capacité de décharge mesurée en mAh/Ah.
Le rétro-éclairage de l’écran LCD s’allume lors du raccordement au secteur et s’éteint
après 30 secondes si aucune pile n’est insérée. Il reste allumé tant qu’un processus de
charge est en cours et s’éteint automatiquement 30 secondes après que la dernière
pile a été entièrement rechargée. Appuyez sur une touche de fonction pour activer
l’éclairage pendant 30 secondes. Si une pile défectueuse est détectée pendant le
processus de charge, le rétro-éclairage reste allumé durablement.

1. Tasto MODE (modalità)
Premere il tasto “MODE” entro 8 secondi dall’inserimento delle 1-4 batterie per
selezionare uno dei seguenti programmi di ricarica:
a. CHARGE
La batteria viene ricaricata. Al completamento della ricarica, si attiva automaticamente
la carica di mantenimento a impulsi (anche nei programmi di ricarica successivi).
b. DISCHARGE
La batteria viene prima scaricata e poi ricaricata per ridurre al minimo l’effetto memory.
c. REFRESH
(sul display LCD appare “DISCHARGE REFRESH” o “CHARGE REFRESH”)  La batteria viene
scaricata e ricaricata più volte per la rigenerazione. Per riportare la batteria alla sua
massima capacità, viene scaricata e ricaricata ripetutamente (max. 10 volte) fino a
quando non viene più rilevato alcun aumento della capacità.
d. TEST
(sul display LCD appare “CHARGE TEST” o “DISCHARGE TEST”)  La batteria viene
prima ricaricata, poi scaricata per misurarne la capacità in mAh/Ah e quindi di nuovo
ricaricata.
2. Tasto CURRENT (corrente)
Premere il tasto “CURRENT” entro 8 secondi dalla selezione del programma di ricarica
o dall’inserimento dell’ultima batteria per selezionare la corrente di carica per il
programma “CHARGE” o “TEST” o per selezionare la corrente di scarica per il programma
“DISCHARGE” o “REFRESH”.
3. Tasto DISPLAY (visualizzazione)
Durante la ricarica o lo scaricamento, premere il tasto “DISPLAY” per visualizzare la
corrente di carica/scarica (in mA), la tensione delle batterie (in V), la capacità di carica/
scarica (in mAh o Ah) o il tempo di carica/scarica trascorso (in hh:mm).
Una volta effettuate le impostazioni tramite i tasti funzione, il caricatore si avvia
automaticamente dopo 8 secondi con i parametri selezionati, se non viene effettuata
un’ulteriore selezione.
Nota! Se si desidera selezionare la stessa modalità per più batterie, inserire prima
le batterie e poi collegare l’alimentatore. Dopodiché, effettuare le impostazioni. Tali
impostazioni vengono applicate a tutti i vani di ricarica occupati. Ma è possibile anche
occupare e impostare ogni vano di ricarica singolarmente.

Dopo aver inserito la batteria, si hanno 8 secondi di tempo per selezionare la modalità e
altri 8 secondi per selezionare la corrente di carica. Se per 8 secondi non viene indicato
nulla, il processo di ricarica si avvia automaticamente con i parametri preimpostati.
Per cambiare una funzione per una singola batteria, rimuovere brevemente la batteria
e collegarla di nuovo. L’indicatore relativo alla batteria in questione lampeggia ed è ora
possibile effettuare le impostazioni per il singolo vano di ricarica tramite i tasti funzione
“MODE” e/o “CURRENT”, come descritto sopra.
Se si ricaricano solo una o due batterie nel caricatore utilizzando soltanto i due vani di
ricarica più esterni, nei programmi “CHARGE” e “TEST” è possibile impostare la corrente
di carica a 1500mA o 1800mA tramite il tasto “CURRENT”. In questo caso, i due vani di
ricarica interni sono senza funzione. Se si desidera ricaricare tre o quattro batterie
contemporaneamente, si può impostare la corrente di carica a 400mA, 600mA o 800mA.
Nei programmi “DISCHARGE” e “REFRESH”, le batterie vengono prima scaricate, per cui in
questo caso si possono selezionare le correnti di scarica di 200mA, 300mA o 400mA. Nel
successivo processo di ricarica, la corrente di carica sarà doppia rispetto alla corrente
di scarica selezionata.
Alcuni minuti prima che le batterie siano completamente ricaricate, il caricatore
riduce la corrente di carica a ca. 200mA, indipendentemente dalla corrente di carica
precedentemente selezionata. Questa ricarica completa è una funzione protettiva che
prolunga la durata di vita delle batterie.
Ad ogni ricarica o scaricamento completati, il caricatore si mette brevemente in
pausa per proteggere le batterie prima di proseguire con il programma di ricarica/
scaricamento selezionato.
ATTENZIONE! Assicurarsi che le proprie batterie siano adatte alla corrente di carica
utilizzata. Non ricaricare le batterie Micro (AAA) con 1500mA o 1800mA! Si consiglia di
selezionare la corrente di carica massima (mA) in modo tale che non superi la capacità
(mAh) della batteria. In questo modo si evita un eccessivo riscaldamento e si protegge
la batteria.

Durante il funzionamento è possibile visualizzare i parametri descritti nel capitolo
3 (DISPLAY). In più vengono indicati anche il programma di ricarica selezionato e il
processo in corso (CHARGE = ricarica o DISCHARGE = scaricamento). In figura [3] è
illustrato come esempio il display LC con alcune indicazioni. Qui sono stati selezionati 4
diverse modalità del display e 4 diversi programma di ricarica.
Al termine del processo di ricarica e durante la carica di mantenimento della batteria
viene visualizzato “Full”.
Al completamento dei programmi di ricarica “TEST” e “REFRESH”, il display commuta tra
“Full” e la capacità di scarica misurata in mAh/Ah.
Non appena si collega il dispositivo alla rete elettrica, si attiva la retroilluminazione
del display LCD e si disattiva se entro 30 secondi non viene inserita alcuna batteria. È
accesa durante il processo di ricarica e si spegne automaticamente dopo 30 secondi
dal completamento della ricarica dell’ultima batteria. Premendo su un tasto funzione
si può attivare l’illuminazione per 30 secondi. Nel caso in cui venga rilevata una
batteria guasta durante il processo di ricarica, la retroilluminazione rimane accesa
permanentemente.

DISPOSITIVO DE CARGA POWERLINE 4.2 PRO

de ANSMANN. Las presentes instrucciones de servicio le ayudarán a emplear idealmente
las funciones de su nuevo cargador. Le deseamos que disfrute de su nuevo cargador.

USO PRESCRITO
El producto sirve para cargar de 1 a 4 acumuladores NiMH de los tamaños miñón AA y
micro AAA. El producto se ha concebido exclusivamente para el uso privado en el hogar,
no para el uso comercial.
INDICACIÓN RELATIVA A LA SEGURIDAD
Antes de la puesta en servicio del producto lea íntegramente y a fondo las
instrucciones de servicio. Contienen informaciones importantes para el
manejo del producto.
Si entrega el producto a otras personas, adjunte estas instrucciones de
servicio.
• Compruebe si el producto presentara daños. En caso de constatar daños, no ponga
el producto en servicio. Póngase en contacto con su vendedor.
• Mantenga a los niños alejados del producto y de su embalaje. El producto no es
un juguete. Los niños deben estar vigilados para garantizar que no jueguen con el
dispositivo.
• Este producto no está destinado a ser utilizado por personas (incluidos niños)
con facultades físicas, sensoriales o mentales disminuidas o que carezcan de
experiencia y conocimientos sobre el manejo de este producto. ¡Estas personas

PUESTA EN SERVICIO
Dependiendo del modelo/versión de país específico el volumen de suministro puede
incluir diversos enchufes para el bloque de alimentación, por ejemplo del tipo europeo
o UK. Si el enchufe adecuado no se encontrara montado previamente, colóquelo a
través de ambos contactos del bloque de alimentación y desplácelo hasta el tope
por la guía (véase figura [1]). Observe que el enchufe se engatilla audiblemente al
desplazarse. Conecte el bloque de alimentación a una toma de corriente adecuada.
Para cambiar el bloque de alimentación, presione el pivote de bloqueo que se
encuentra por debajo del enchufe (por ejemplo con un lápiz) hasta que se desplace
algo hacia arriba y pueda tomarse.
MANEJO
Carga sencilla con parámetros preajustados
1. Coloque los acumuladores con la polaridad correcta según el muestra el símbolo del
compartimento de carga.
2. Tras la colocación parpadea la señalización en la pantalla LC. Se muestra la tensión
del acumulador en voltios así como el programa de carga preajustado „CHARGE“
(cargar) y después la corriente de carga preajustada (600mA). Seguidamente
se inicia automáticamente el proceso de carga. Es normal que se recaliente el
acumulador durante el proceso de carga. Tan pronto como el acumulador se
encuentre completamente cargado, aparece en la pantalla el mensaje „FULL“ y al
acumulador se le suministra corriente de mantenimiento. Esta función garantiza un
rendimiento óptimo e impide la autodescarga de las baterías. Tome el acumulador y
desconecte el producto del suministro de corriente.

Funciones avanzadas
El dispositivo de carga cuenta con 3 teclas funcionales, „CURRENT“, „DISPLAY“ y „MODE“
(véase figura [2]) por medio de las cuales se pueden llevar a cabo los siguientes
ajustes:
1. Tecla MODE (modo)
Pulse la tecla „MODE“ en un lapso de 8 segundos tras colocar de 1 a 4 acumuladores
para seleccionar uno de los siguientes programas de carga:
a. CHARGE
Se carga el acumulador. Tras la carga íntegra tiene lugar una conmutación automática
a la carga de mantenimiento por impulsos (también con los siguientes programas de
carga).
b. DISCHARGE
El acumulador se descarga primero, luego se carga para reducir a un mínimo el llamado
"memory effect".
c. REFRESH
(en el LCD se muestra „DISCHARGE REFRESH“ o „CHARGE REFRESH“)  El acumulador se
descarga y carga repetidas veces para renovarse. Para conferir al acumulador de nuevo
a su capacidad máxima se descarga y carga tantas veces (máx. 10), hasta que deje de
reconocerse un aumento de la capacidad.
d. TEST
(en el LCD se muestra „CHARGE TEST“ o „DISCHARGE TEST“)  El acumulador se carga
primero, luego se descarga para medir la capacidad en mAh/Ah y seguidamente se
vuelve a cargar.
2. Tecla CURRENT (corriente)
Pulse la tecla „CURRENT“ en un lapso de 8 segundos tras la selección del programa
de carga o tras colocar el último acumulador para seleccionar la corriente de carga
de los programas „CHARGE“ o „TEST“ o bien la corriente de descarga de los programas
„DISCHARGE“ o „REFRESH“.
3. Tecla DISPLAY (visualización)
Durante la carga o la descarga pulse la tecla „DISPLAY“ para que se muestre la corriente
de carga o descarga (en mA), la tensión del acumulador (en V), la capacidad de carga o
descarga (en mAh o Ah) o la duración de la carga o la descarga que haya transcurrido
(en hh:mm).
