Please read the notes below before starting the setup process:

Confirm that your location has active broadband Internet service (DSL/cable
modem line). Please consult with your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or network
administrator for any required network connection information, such as dial-up
account information, static IP address, etc.
Compatibility note: To enjoy the high network speed of the 5GHz band, please
ensure that your device's network / wireless card is designed to accept this
signal. If it is not, you may want to upgrade your system with a Dual Band
Wireless-N USB Adapter.

If you have an existing wireless router, please power off and disconnect the unit
from your computer and modem. Your modem should also be powered off, but
leave it connected to your cable or phone outlet.
With the Anker router powered off, use the provided Ethernet cable to connect
your modem’s network port to the Anker router’s WAN port.

Step 1 Connecting your modem
In this step, you have the option of connecting your computer to the Anker router
via a wired cable OR wireless network.
If you have another Ethernet cable, use it to connect your computer’s network
port to one of the Anker router’s four
LAN
ports. Your devices should now be
connected as follows: cable or phone outlet > modem > Anker router >
computer network port.
